"A High-Throughput In Vitro Functional Platform for Anti-Epileptic Drug Screening in Genetic and Chemically Induced Seizure Models" presented by Dr. Ruiben Feng
Discover our multi-well microelectrode array (mwMEA) platform using rat hippocampal neurons and a Dravet syndrome genetic model. We validate dose-dependent anti-seizure effects of valproate (VPA) and retigabine (RTG) in models induced by compounds like PTX, 4-AP, and PTZ, offering a high-throughput solution to speed up epilepsy therapeutics.

"Investigating Multidimensional Mechanisms of Cochlear Damage Induced by Non-Gaussian Noise Exposure" presented by Dr Ruiben Feng
Our novel mouse model connects systemic oxidative stress and inflammation to cochlear injury in noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Through auditory tests (ABR, DPOAE), immunofluorescence for hair cell apoptosis and synaptopathy, and biomarkers like MDA and TNF-α, we reveal pathways for early diagnosis and new interventions.
